    Well, that is what it says! But it is the agent's blurb rather than anything truly official and there is no mention of service charge there.

    Lynzpower owns a SO and I think she pays similar in service charge each month, I'm sure. I think that's what it is :) You should of course clarify with the builder/HA but either way, it looks like money that needs paying.

    Don't know whether you budgeted for that? Pretty nasty shock if it isn't! Have you compared to other SOs?

    Yeah, it is a shock - just very extreme. Have not compared that particular charge with other SOs. Am doing so as we speak (at least trying to find a similar SO offering to compare).

    Is LynzPower another money saver online? Sorry - really am new to all this forum posting business!

    I will clarify tomorrow and let you know.

    By the time I add it all up, it suddenly becomes more like a standard mortgage than an actual 'helpful' SO scheme! Grrr!
