Samsung Galaxy S2 deals for low user?

Hi all,

I'm currently with Vodafone, my contract is ending at the end of October.

What do I want?
1) A Samsung Galaxy S2
2) To keep the same number
3) Preferably stay on Vodafone (rural location)
4) Preferably a 12 month contract but will consider anything up to 24months if the price is sufficiently lower!

I hardly use my phone to call anyone (I certainly don't use it to 'catch up' with people etc) so I hardly need any minutes.

I text relatively often (maybe 10-20 per week).

I send the odd picture message (maybe 1-2 a month).

I'd be using the phone for everything else that it does, i.e. sat nav capabilities, using it as an mp3 player, apps, maybe a few games etc.

The cheapest deal I can find is a 12 month contract for new users on Vodaphone, the phone is £165.83, with £30 pm line rental which includes 300 minutes, unlimited texts, 500mb data, 2gb BT Openzone Wi-Fi which totals £525.83 over the term.

Does anyone else know where I could look or any comparison sites that let you search by overall cost?

I'm really bad at mobile phone stuff, I've only ever been with Vodafone so I've no idea even if thats a good deal!

Voda are the most expensive !

Rural ? if you have broadband get Orange Signalboost for at home. T-Mobile are to do it late 2011.

S2 is quite a plastic based phone, thats the draw back of it, id wait and see what the market brings as I love the phone but the weight is so light and plastic casing make it a easy screen to smash.
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

You could not be more wrong, yes the phones is plastic but in my opinion this just makes it stronger.before I got a galaxy.s2 I had a htc desire great phones but nothing on this, I have dropped the galaxy many times without a cases while at work etc and nothing, yes it has a few scratches but is far more robust than the htc or over rated I phone I had previous. I would 100% recommend getting on and emails internet etc are very very fast, as is watching you tube etc.

    1. PAYG on '3' or sim-free with '3' PAYG sim card.
    2. Another network - unlikely as '3' are known not to be very 'choosy'.
