I think the family next week are going to be really annoying. I remember them from last time, that guy is an uptight dork."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

Yep,what about the tax!!!!!!!!But hey,ho gotta go out now,fancy a elderflower fritter!!!!!!!!0 -
ok so due to tax they didnt strictly completely pay off their mortgage - but its definitely in their grasp.
the main thing for me is that they cleared their debt and managed to raise £105k in 2 years working on projects that they WANTED to do and still were laid back enough to go surfing and skateboarding! which sounds great to me!
hats off to them! :T:j Where there is a will there is a way - there is a way and I will find it :j0 -
Yes I thought tonights programme was really inspiring, they seem such a lovely family I was hoping they would do it. I'm sure after the exposure on TV they will sell a few more to cover the tax bill. I don't think they are the type that would want a big business long term, I would think after everything is sorted they will go back to enjoying life.0

i have to admit i thought that family were amazing how i would love to live to be honest..i wish them all the best for the future0

Elderflower fritters might be really really nice so maybe it was no hardship.. kids seemed excited enough to be having them...has anyone here tried them? When you're going through Hell, Keep going!
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation
Just when you think human beings can't get any stupider, they get behind the wheel of a car...
Become eternally poor in one easy step- decide to love Horses... :rolleyes:0 -
to be debt free mortage free in two years is a great achivement with or with out the tax bill the tax bill proberly was not due at the time and they have a way of paying the tax bill of when it comes in through selling them stoves so stop nit picking about them not having done it in two years they done really well and i wish my kids would eat half the stuff they did instead of beening so dam fussy:Di cant slow down i wont be waiting for you i cant stop now because im dancing0

They really did do it. It showed on a chart at they end that they had actually grossed £152K. That allowing for parts used and tax they were only short of paying the actual mortgage by £1500. That was why Rene bought the Hotpod from them.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
F U Fund currently at £2500
