That's the problem with the cheap cameras. The brand name puts me of. If your going to get a camera buy a well know brand.

Personally I would go further and say buy a well known camera brand... they are not as bad as they used to be but some other well known brands first attempt at cameras were fairly dire too

The megapixel rating is somewhat misleading in itself. A higher megapixel rating doesn't mean better quality, if you don't have good quality optics on your camera all the megapixels in the world won't improve the picture quality

well I think it is clear that the camera is very poor quality, so you will possibly not see an improvement in the replacement.
Before sending back DO MAKE SURE you have put the camera into it's highest resolution (3.1Mp?) in the menus otherwise I suspect you might get charged even more!
I would put this one down to experience and do a little bit more homework in the future - there is lots of advice freely available on the web or at your local camera store!

but the quality isnt even 3.1mp! thats the thing, even if i was getting some kind of quality, then i would have just kept the camera but its of no use...been advised by trading standards to write them a letter by recorded delivery and wait for 14 days for there reply. lets see what happens....under one of the acts, i am entitled to a refund/exchange anyway.

yes but I was thinking you might not have set the camera to the optimum resolution in the menus - make sure you have checked this otherwise the seller will have a valid argument against you!
