  • OP are you aware that if your partner has no recourse to public funds she will be charged for her NHS hospital care when she gives birth? It runs into thousands of pounds so I would sort something out before then (perhaps an independant midwife).

    NHS is not public funds; yet (it may change as this visa is now being looked at by this government). As the OPs wife is on a legal spouse visa, she has full access to NHS.

    The rest you who are taking pot shots at each other; why don't you take it to private mails?
    RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
