It says respond to RPSS whats that mean?

RPSS = Revenue Protection Support Service = equals the company that sent you the letter, like you said in post #1.

Write them a letter along the lines of:

    'Dear __

    RE: account ID ___

I believe this has been sent to me in error as I did not use their travel services on the said date, please update your records and avoid contacting me in the future.'

If they persist tell them to bugg*r off or prove it.

But if it was you, like said, they will have CCTV to prove it.
  • Thanks all just went to post box posted letter hopefully that should be it.

I am writing a letter right now. But it would be nice to speak to a person on the other end. Really want to know who pretended to be me :|.

They won't know who pretended to be you - and certainly won't have access to the CCTV while you talk to them on the phone. And the data protection act will probably prevent them telling you even if they did know..

Just write - as, sensibly, you have.

Out of curiosity -- was the letter in your name?

If so I wonder if the person knows you...for somebody to give an incorrect address and get the right name of the householders would be exceptionally lucky.....

It will be a friend or someone who knows you well. A bit like when Jermaine Pennant pretended to be Ashley Cole:-
