The reason that Tesco have 30% of the grabbits is because they have 30% of the UK retail sector
AND a bunch of incompetent (BRILLIANT FOR US) pricing teamKeep up the good work Tesco's
Don't make life easier for them- by having everything on one forum you are literally handing them the keys to your car - if you don't like tesco grabbits don't read them ...s i m p l e

The OP isn't suggesting a single thread but a sub board for all the T's threads to go. It could go in the same place as the gone but not forgotten so still on the same page as the other grabbits?AKA: PC

There have been many reasoned arguments both for and against my post.
I think it is now time to get back to the grabbits.
I did not intend my post to bring even more publicity to the big "T".
My rant has turned against me.
Move or delete the post as you wish.
I would think that the only people who would want to carry on the thread would have other motives than just being a bit fed up with all the posts bearing that brand.

Epic fail on your part but you live & learn.
As the wise SirBrainy pointed out, the number of grabbits is proportinal to the market share they have. I doubt it's publicity as lets face it, there's no-one in the country that hasn't heard of them.
And as for profits, are they really that kind that they'd deliberately give us £3.50 off our shopping and 6 lots of free batteries? Or how about 3 pots of jelly and 1p to take them away? Or what about the DTD errors which have resulted in people taking high priced items away for free or even for a profit?
Even if I go in and spend a little money to hide the error, it still doesn't account for the amount they lose to me. I only buy what I can get cheap/free/profit.0 -
I don't really care either way, just wanted to say i love the fact the op put in a grabbit at the end so noone could come on and say 'where's the grabbit??' lol!!!Man who run into airport turn-styles is going to Bangkok

I raised this a few months ago as I was fed up seeing grocery bargains galore on the Grabbit board, but I was shot down and made to feel stupid.
I still agree though, that it's annoying scrolling through pages to find something that's not Tesco (or other groceries) related. It's even more frustrating when the post says 'in-store in Birmingham' for instance. At least if it's online most people can benefit.
Keep grocery offers & grabbits on the groceries board is what I still say.Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -
i think tesco staff get criticized too much. it's those higher in the tesco food change that are responsible. the store i work at hasn't taken on staff for at least 18 months now. when staff leave, they aren't replaced. the work load is split between those left on the dept. just my opinion

leave it as it is please :0) I don't get much time to sneak on and have a look for grabbits so would rather be able to see then as individual threads as opposed to trawling through one huge list trying to work out what is a grabbit and what is just chat, and if it's something I'm not interested in then I just ignore that particular thread.....0
