What is living under the dog poo?

It might be a shrew that was already living / tunneling in that piece of ground, before your doglet went and pooped on top of it!? They can be very tiny, even the adults

I've just cleaned up the dog poo in the garden and I cleaned one lot up and picked up half to see something scurrying away under the bit I had left behind, cleaned that up and there was a there was a long tunnel that was big enough for me to put my finger into.

My husband said it looked like a slo worm tunnel but under dog poop? I am not sure. I often see dung beetles and they are quite small - they could not have made that tunnel, I was just curious as to what it might be. I have put some more dog poo over the hole to entice it out again (LOL, yes really) but anyone have any ideas what on earth it might be.
