Travelodge

Finding it impossible to complete booking on Travelodge web site - it informs me that my visa card has an invalid number - I have checked with the bank and there is nothing wrong with it. I can use it for everything else - what I'm wondering is, is it because it is a Northern Ireland bank. Anyone any ideas or previous experience with booking rooms with Travelodge. Thanks

Thanks absoluteutopia. I'll try one of my friends cards - just wondering then - do you have to have the card with you when you book in. Trying to book cheap rooms for a wedding.

  • More than likely a web page problem for Travelodge; have you not tried emailing/phoning Travelodge direct?
  • Travelodge? *Shudder*

Once bitten, twice shy for me, I'm afraid.

Thank your lucky stars, and just walk away.

  • Some debit cards cannot be used to book hotels. I would just check with your bank before trying to book again.

Yep, tonight's the night. In some ways it is a little like General Election night waiting for the first to declare! In the last sale, I believe Liphook was the sale TL to appear, but my memory may be faulty.
