ta very much
If only I had people to beat off! I am surrounded on all sides by vacant plots, so my problem is that I tend to inherit the other weed seeds, not advice!
that's the problem where we are - (rural essex/suffolk) so many ppl have huge gardens (not me sadly) that there isn't a huge call on allotments - shame, they don't know what they are missing....mind you.......I am considering expanding my (plot) empire, so hopefully will be able to grow even more :T0 -

£7 per year in arrears, 1st year free due to the weeds! plus £10 deposit for the water key.0

Is that all it costs?
I was expecting a lot more than that tbh
I'd be so tempted to take one, but I don't think I'd be able to cope with it on my own....unless i got the teenagers involved as well.... or my Dad. Now there's an idea

The cost depends on where you live and probably is based on what the demand is. In Stoke-on-Trent the cost is £47 per year. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

My plot is £13 for the 1st year, next year FREE, this is to prove commitment in the 1st year and £10 (refundable ) for the gate key. So for two years at least it will cost me £6.50 per year.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0

Thanks everyone
took the plunge and got a plot AND we are seriously thinking about getting 2 further plots to make a giant L shape
Kids want chickens, dh wants greenhouse and shed, and the fruit/veg list is growing
for £54 it will be worth it I thinkem x

How come you get 3 for £54 in Crewe, but we are paying £47 for one in Stoke. Ours should be cheaper as you lot in Cheshire are much richer than us :rotfl:You're only young once, but you can be immature forever
