Recomendations for a new phone please
I upgraded my ancient mobile last Christmas to an Orange San Francisco.
Although I really like having a smart phone and all the apps, I find the phone really slow and terrible for texting. I have wondered if going back to a keypad would be better for me or if it's just the fact that the phone takes so long to catch up with my typing and therefore another touch screen would be OK for me.
I am currently on PAYG with orange but I know I could get a good deal on a contract as I've been with them forever and they keep trying to tempt me to leave PAYG. I'm not a heavy user, and only top up with £10 per month at the moment with 400 free texts, 100mb of internet and no calls.
I'd really appreciate some recommendations as I feel completely overwhelmed by the choice out there.
Thanks.

I have read so many good reviews about the OSF and yet, I find it really "laggy" as my teenage son calls it.
I have tried looking for swype keyboard in the app market but can't find it.0 -

You register with an email address you can access via your mobile and we send you a link to download Swype. That's it!Dolphin on payg - get unlimited texts for £5 !
Do you want him to HIT the "thanks" button for this advice too?0 -
Swype is the best, for sure. Text input on my iPhone's good enough, but not as fast or accurate as swype...0

Thanks for the advice. I've cleared out some old apps and installed swype and I think I may well stick with the OSF as it seems a lot better now.
Thanks.0 -
Thanks grumbler for the Swype advice - my OSF is a lot better now! The keyboard was the one thing that was driving me mad! Really happy now.0
