Firefox not performing UK searches on Google

I stopped using Google a few months back as it often gives terrible search results now. I've been using Bing ever since and I tend to be able to find what I want.

At one time, a 'UK search' option appeared in the lefthand side of the Google page, but that appears to have gone.
I tend to put 'UK' in the search text somewhere which usually does the job.0
