They take coupons now ONLY if you buy the product. This is going to be all tescos quite soon.

Have we had inside confirmation of this or is this just a knee jerk reaction in some stores after the overuse of Somerfield coupons?

I have several Essentials coupons at the mo and had planned to 'buy' some more before the end of the week. I won't spend the money if this is official.

oh well it was going to happen i suppose.
a few people abusing it means we all lose out.
Not a mega prob, i only did about £4 a month

I've just used loads today with no problems what so ever. I think you have to choose your cashier well though

hubby has just come in and told me that the ASDA oldbury have a huge sign outside saying that they now take TESCO coupons. can anyone verify?

ive also had no problems with my coupons today i think itll be a knee jerk reaction to the overuse of somerfield vouchers over xmas in some stores. My local stoped taking the somerfield ones over xmas but are now accepting them again! :j because they were losing out to asda (cheaper!) so they accept them to get peoples custom back again . each store does things differently.

Also used a load of coupons today at Tescos, LLanelli reducing bill from £77 to £60. Used two Daily Mail £4 off and internet tokens no probs
