edited 7 September 2011 at 1:06PM in It's gone, but was it any good?
I went in Tesco this morning and purchased:

Beef bolognese pie 800g

8 Cheese and garlic bread slices

New York Vanilla Cheesecake

Charged: £7.94p

Deal should have been £5 for the lot so I was refunded £5.88 under Tescos double the difference policy! So only cost me £2.06 for the deal.

This was in a normal Tesco store not express.

Hope it works as CS assistant was telling her colleague that she had another problem (ie me!) to sort out as they had just removed a load of Bakugan toys from the shelf - sounds like a glitch on another thread on here!!

That post made me runing to my purse to check the tesco receipt from this morning.
Bought the pizza, cheesecake and garlic bread slices. Have not been overcharged. So might be a glitch just with the pie.

I'm not being negative or anything, but you did not get paid to take the food away as per the thread title, you infact paid £2.06 for something that should have cost £5.00

    Still a good find though

Well i got £7.94 back on meal (so it did cost me nothing!!!) this was in Stalybridge store, also got £9 back on a peppa pig toy with sounds the assistant said the tills weren't registering the offers or some of them. Was tempted to go back get more but the queue for customer services was ridiculous!!!

We've just been in Leeds seacroft one and the deputy manager was on the phone next to the meal deal and I heard him talking to someone on the phone, apparently it's the garlic bread that's causing the problems.
Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!
