I'm not being negative or anything, but you did not get paid to take the food away as per the thread title, you infact paid £2.06 for something that should have cost £5.00

    Still a good find though

Yes realised my thread title was misleading once posted - sorry :o , I cannot amend it now either, sorry. It must have been all that excitement ot getting another bargain! :D

Huge DTD - priced at £3.97, going through at £24.97!! there are plenty that have benefited from this - there is another thread on here (and very busy too!!)

I thought I saw that, the sales assistant was moaning that surely the customer noticed that they had overpaid £60 at the till BEFORE they paid as they only had a small bag of shopping! They obviously havnt heard of MSE! :)

  • Worked in my local. Got BIG DTDs in several stores today thanks to yesterday's expired SELs. Freezer now full of OP's list...

  • just a quick question are these pies nice? never tried a bolognese pie

Havnt tried this one before, it is new to the meal deal. In my opinion some of the Tesco pies dont have much meat in them (and can be chewey) but my kids really love their chicken and brocolli puff pasty one but my store dont stock this anymore.
  • We've just been in Leeds seacroft one and the deputy manager was on the phone next to the meal deal and I heard him talking to someone on the phone, apparently it's the garlic bread that's causing the problems.

I've just been to that one this evening and the cheesy garlic bread had been removed lol

  • Think i was too slow on this one. Got the pie, cheesy garlic bread and profiteroles charged correctly.

Have never had bolognese pie before, should be interesting  What do you serve it with, surely not gravy? Then it'll be dry? lol
