Afternoon boost for storage heaters?

I live in an all electric bungalow which is heated by storage heaters. I've spent the morning comparing economy 7 prices with my current southern electric superdeal tariff. I've found several cheaper economy 7 options but under the superdeal tariff my storage heaters come on for a couple of hours in the afternoon. I've found this extremely useful - especially if I wake up in the morning to a cold house. I am able to switch on / turn up the storage heaters and come home to a warm house in the evening without having to wait another night for the change in heat to kick in. If I'm at home during the day (I work from home one day a week and can get very cold sitting at the computer) its even more useful.

I know that superdeal is an expensive tariff, but I really don't want to lose this afternoon boost. Does anyone know of any better tariffs that offer this option?

The afternoon boost tariff is generally called Economy 10, but there are many variations with different names - particularly in Scotland.

Many companies don't cater for that type of tariff.

It may pay you to have a look at Economy 7 tariffs and see it that works out cheaper, even allowing for the fact you may have to use other electrical heating if the storage heaters run out of 'puff!'
