"A Swindon driver convicted of killing a 28-year-old motorcyclist has had her appeal against her sentence refused.
The Court of Appeal heard Donna Hackett, 26, of Radnor Street, Swindon, plea against her six-year jail term.
Miss Hackett crashed her Vauxhall Astra car into Wayne Moore's motorcycle on the M4 near Swindon during the early hours of September 18, 2010.
Hackett was sentenced for death by careless driving when over the prescribed limit in April.
Family and friends of Mr Moores from Eastleigh, Hampshire have started a petition against Miss Hackett's early release.
More than 5,000 people signed the online petition.
Mr Moores died at the scene of the crash. He was returning to his family home in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire, from his job as a Blacksmith in Wales.0 -
