Got some more updates to down load this morning all successful
apart from this one that said cancelledUpdate for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 x86 (KB2533523)
Installation date: ‎07/‎09/‎2011 10:52
Installation status: Canceled
Error details: Code 8024000B

    .NET updates are a pain! they usually have to be done on their own.
    Just rerun Windows Update and make sure you have only 1 .NET update selected (No other updates!!!)
    if it works then keep doing that till all the .NET updates are gone...

  • This could be the one my wife had trouble with, it failed every time for about 2 weeks. I managed to download and install it manually. HTH.

    If you have a 32 bit version of windows, you need to get the bottom one of the three, NDP40-KB2533523-x86.exe at 19 MB

    The .NET Framework 4 or the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile

    What system are you using XP/Vista/W7?
