What happened to DYOR Lite? What happened to understanding the context?

To be honest, I've bought a flat and don't really need to worry about it any more.

It's fantastic being an owner isn't it.
    Edinburgh is a wonderful city.

I like to keep an eye on the market and Edinburgh was a city I had previously looked to buy in before.

Ultimately I chose not to invest there, but find it interesting when people try to portray that prices are crashing, when quite clearly they haven't.

It's working out really well for me. I'm living in a nice area close to the city centre, and I have a modest mortage on a reasonable rate which is covered by the rental income from my lodger (the numbers are pretty compelling!).
