research iso noise at LOW iso first, like the 7d they can have some rather bad ISO noise at iso 200, 400, 800 + 1600 you expect it after that, if you own a lesser model now and you are used to silky smooth noise free images at low ISO, then get ready for a bit of a shock.

It's a great camera. I paid just under £700 about 18months ago and Amazon have it now for just over £500.

acecameras.co.uk - real shop, based in Bath, was undercutting everyone else by £200 when it was the newest model. Not some internet fly-by-night, but a real bricks'n'mortar shop with shelves and stuff. You can buy with confidence.

do you know anything about photography? which lenses are you going to get? a zoom or a fixed zoom, what apertures it can achieve?

seems like a complete waste of money for 'cause I want it'
are you actually just going to use it as a point and shoot cause then that really is a waste of money

remember with such a good quality camera you have to buy a lens that is up to the job, if you buy a carp one you may as well buy a fisher price camera.

fixed focal length then, but I'm not the one buying it so I don't have to know anything about photography, this is MSE remember just trying to bring some sanity to 'cause I want one'
