Orange Dolphin 15.50 & 20.50 - how much data?

I picked up the latest (Sept 2011) glossy Orange "Explore" brochure from one of their stores today. Inside it states (p.20) that both the Dolphin 15.50 and 20.50 plans have just 100MB internet allowance.

But when I looked today at the Orange website, it says that both of these Dolphins have 250MB internet allowance.

They can't both be correct - which is it, please ?
Thanks, docmarty

store prices are different form online prices
you normally get a better deal online
so both are probably right for data.

Sometimes you get an even better deal by phoning up and talking to someone.

TBH the data allowance is irrelevant. Their 3G network is so poor it takes 10 minutes to load Googles homepage.
  • Thanks for your responses. I went back into the store yesterday (7th) and was told that the in-store prices had changed just the day before, so that the Dolphin 15 & 20 plans both have just 100MB data.
I think the point is to push people who want to prioritise data over call minutes onto their Panther plans (more expensive too, surprise surprise),
Mind you, Orange online site still has the "old" 250MB for Dolphin 20.

jbainbridge is right if you phone them you will probably get a good deal

i rang Orange a couple of weeks ago and said i wanted to cancel my Sim-only deal they asked why and i said GiffGaff is giving me 250min, unlimited text, unlimited internet data for £10 a month

So he said i will give you 600mins, unlimited text, 500mb internet data and magic numbers for £10 so i took the deal
i didn't want to leave Orange any way because i get a good 3g signal here....also 3 is good to were i live
i was on Racoon sim-only but now Canary sim-only

O2, Vodafone are not good here

so anyway you can get good deals if you ring.
