I'd recommend Edinburgh if you fancy a bit of a trip. That said, if I was going to second any of the others, it would be Cardiff Bay, which is unrecognisable from the Cardiff I lived in many years ago.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

Avoid the wrong end of town and you will be fine.
LOTS (over 300) bars, some great restuarants (including Michelin starred, but not on MSE budgets!)...
Vibrant night life, very little trouble, great night out, lots of variety....
The bad press nottm has had is a load of BS..There are very few problems in the city ( a few in the Burbs though!)
PM me if you need hotel/beer destinations

Another Cardiff vote for me. I've been to a few cities on nights out and Cardiff is so easy to get from pub to pub i have to recommend it.
also cardiff bay is nice for eating and drinking
they have to be separated as nights out really0 -
Cardiff.. I'd say Cardiff Bay, up market, not that cheap but pretty awesome!0

Went to Nottingham last year which was really good.
Tried Cardiff about 4 years ago but didn`t rate it, I think we drank in the city centre though, rough pubs.
WHERE`S GOT THE MOST GIRLS OUT!!!!! :-)
