When we cancelled, SKY+ went straight away, hope it stays for you. It might be worth checking because although we could get into the recordings, we couldn't play them, can you? As I understand it if you cancel SKY+, the recordings all remain but the ability to play/record is removed.Consider anything only don't cry!0

My sky finished yesterday
, first thing to go was the sky + functionality - shortly followed by the remainder of the channels. Im missing it just now, hope I can live without it - lol.
Incidentally I got a phone call with a week to go until cut off asking me If I still wanted to leave and why. They told me the best they could offer me to stay was 10% off the price, better than nothing but still can't justify the cost.
Not selling my sky + box just yet, but I will in a few months if I dont get a welcome back offer. If at first you don't succeed - destroy all evidence that you tried.0 -

What is working is the sky + functionallity though

I thought you had to pay an extra £10/month or a premium package for sky+. I'm paying £0
Yeah sky only operate live pause and playback, the record is just the hardrive on the box..0 -
well my sky+ is still working on the free to air channels and pause/playback, I have never had this box plugged into the phone line so that might have something to do with the + function still working. As soon as the engineers installed I pulled the telephone cable out.]
So looks like I will be keeping my Sky box would have made £90ish on ebay for it but a freeview PVR would have been around the same price and I prefer the menu/response from the sky box.:money: IT Geek & Martin Wannabee :money:0 -
I think you have been very lucky to retain the sky + function, be interesting to see if they try and charge you - keep us posted.

i did get a bill in a few weeks ago for £8 odd, however I think this is probably just a sum I owe them from having sky for 3+ years, will have to see if a bil comes in next month.:money: IT Geek & Martin Wannabee :money:0

Would be £10 a month to retain it.
