Sorry for the late reply I have been away from the computer for a couple of days.
Please could anyone tell me, when I should consider transferring

    as I responded earier...

"Transfers typically take between 4 to 6 weeks. You will not pay (much) extra if you go onto a standard tariff for a few weeks, but will lose £100 if you get the timing wrong.

    Hardly worth the risk
    "

So unfortunately you need to answer your own question. Personally given the downside risk I would only discount the "cooling-off" period off the 31 October bonus date.

    Sorry to bump this

I found out from Npower that my year with them on go-fix is up on the 13th October, but I have to stay with them until 31st October on a go-save standard tarriff, to qualify for the £100 credit.

My question is this, is it too early to arrange a switch?

    Many thanks

Bundance, you dont have to go onto the Go Save tariff to get the discount, the discount is linked to your Direct Debit, not your tariff. Although entering another cheaper tariff with npower will most likely fix you in again. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all of your help, I think I will wait till I get my £100 and switch.
    Sorry this reply is late.
