I think, OP, you should sell your secret of how you get all these interviews. Seriously, you get sacked from several jobs, you can barely write, you can't even spell the name of the course you're taking, and yet you get several interviews. How do you do it?

Frankly you sound unemployable. Really, you spend a lot of money on a CV (which you can get for free) and argue with the agency because you call them half an hour before starting work. You now have 3 other interviews, will you be asking them what the job is or wait until you start and then claim "falase advertising"? Did you not ask the agency what the work was, a job title even, what was the company you were on assignment at? Start from scratch, improve your written communication, decide what you want to, get a CV (JCP can refer you or there are thousands of free sites on the web) and COMMIT to something.0

I suspect, from the creative description supplied by the OP that it is called lying and using many agencies so that nobody catches up with you. After all, there is often a strong connection between getting sacked a lot, and lying about your skills and experience.0 -
to respond to the point about call centre staff being able to spell, in fact, in a lot of call centres it is required. We used to have a very long spelling test for one of the ones I used to run, back in the day. Lots of Welsh towns thrown in for good measure. (A good standard of spelling ability was essential for the job)
However, if OP is applying for admin, then it is no wonder they keep being sacked.....the first time they have to write a letter or document for their new employer I expect...;)0 -
Sorry to hijack this thread or if this has been answered before but my wife has to have a serious opearation and I will need to take 6 weeks off to help look after her. I doubt if I will get offered unpaid leave so will hand my notice in and look for new employment in the New Year if and when she has recovered enough. I want to leave the job (less than 1 years service) anyway as it hasn't really turned out to be either the position I applied for in both work or T&C/renumeration terms - basically they got me on the cheap for a much bigger job than they let on!
I suspect I will not get contribution based JSA (not entitled to income based) for 26 weeks even once I am able to leave her and seek employment after 6 weeks or so. Am I right in this assumption? Thanks.
Her health is far more important than any benefit income so I feel I have to take this action to look after her.
EDIT: Started new thread as per advice below... thanks.
