If i quit job can i still get JSA.

I want too quit my job, because i have 2 interviews this week maybe more for jobs i want.
Also the job is mostley on the phone, i thought it would just be a tiny bit.
There was no interview for the job i just registerd with agencey.
I have told jobcenter in past about couple of jobs i got sacked from and never been sanctioned.

If i knew it was all call centre i would not have took it.

Should i lie to the jobcentre say there was no job and tell agencey to remove it of there records if they do doubt it.

You seem to want to lie a lot.

I don't think you qualify for JSA for a certain period of time if you quit a job. I may be wrong though.

I think you could get sanctioned for up to 6 months...

Ideally you dont want to quit your job until or unless you have secured another job to fall back on, looking for work whilst on JSA is going to be a lot harder than if currently working.

You need to give the benefits office a good reason for leaving your job, simply not liking it wont go down well with them, this would also apply to any further job you apply for as companies do like to check your previous employment, if they feel your likely to leave the company because you dont like the position, they are even less likely to employ you.

Whereas if you are currently employed and you mention at an interview that the job your currently in is not satisfactory for you, it can be given as a good enough reason to be applying for the position.

Best advice, stick with the job, apply for as many alternatives as you wish and wait until you are offered something better, try not to fall into the benefits trap, as the longer you find yourself on JSA, the lesser the chances of getting out of it.

If that is how you type at work I doubt you will last too long anyway.

I cannot imagine a call centre job being too concerned with an employers spelling.

If you leave, at least you won't have to worry about taking any holidays. You'll have no money to spend when your friend arrives mind you.
Moving onto a better place...Ciao

That wont work I'm afraid, inevitably they do check these things out thoroughly.
