Combining promo offers and cashback - Plusnet

Has anyone recently switched to Plusnet through a cashback site AND got the half price promo deal they're currently offering? I phoned them today (as it's an 0800 number), member of staff I got seemed to think if I went through TCB I wouldn't get the half price broadband offer.
If you can't think of anything nice to write, say nothing. Rudeness isn't clever.

Shouldn't make any difference, as once you click through to Plusnet the procedure is the same-if the offer is showing, it should be OK.
According to Quidco, what you can't do is enter a referral code during sign up, as that will invalidate your cashback.No free lunch, and no free laptop
