Good afternoon all,
I am nearing end of an Orange sim-only contract £10 per month, and I would like to find an even cheaper one if possible. I may haggle with Orange but spoke to them the other day and it didn't sound too promising.
Are there any Sim-only contracts around £5 per month?
I use my mobile only a couple of times a week, but I dislike the faffing and insecurity of PAYG.
Many thanks in advance.
MA.

£1 (One Pound) a month Sim Only Deal. Talk Mobile.
£6: http://www.chitterchatter.co.uk/simonly.php
Also IIRC, there was something like 'autotopup' option available on Ikea PAYG. Don't know about other networks.0 -
Did you read the OP? It was not about the cheapest PAYG:Giff Gaff do 60 mins and 300 texts for a £5 topup (no contract)starfish_chimp wrote: »...I dislike the faffing and insecurity of PAYG.
EDIT: I see, you are here to spam. Reported dully to the abuse team.0 -
i range orange a couple weeks ago to cancel my sim only deal....i told them i wasn't using my mins but i just wanted some internet data
so told them i was using giffgaff...he said ok i will give you 600mins, unlimited text, 500mb data and magic numbers all for £10 a month
so they got me staying in the end i gave in to that
so you can get good deals of them...think it depends on who you talk to
must admit O2 signal in my house is not that good 3 and orange are fine get 3g signal....So take that in mind when you decide what network if you change.
i also reported that spammer.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.

Despite what has been said above regarding giffgaff and PAYG I would still have a look at what they offer.
If you want to read it as such, they provide a 1 month contract which you can cancel without any fuss and should you go over your chosen monthly allowance you don't get hammered with extortionate charges per minute.0 -
Talkmobile also do:

For a fiver thats not bad.
They do credit checks for these low contracts. I tried to get the £1 sim for the second mobile for when I'm off on holiday and failed it!0 -
Also with Giffgaff you can set your account up to auto top-up which would be the same as not faffing about with PAYG.0
