Hi fellow money savers
I am just trying to find out if when hargreaves lansdown show the 5 year cumulative performance of a fund (eg Newton real return 5 year cumulative is 49%) does that normally include having reinvested the yield (in this case 3.3%) or not?
Any ideas?
Thanks

I think most would offer this. On Financial Express you get price, total return and gross total return (and then a combination). You have to be careful what you leave it on as it remembers that last setting!I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Hi ya,
I have had a quick look and cannot figure out how to get HL to let you view performance with or without dividends. Sorry to be a bit stupid but how did you do this?

If you have the chart displayed, then under the graph there is a section called 'Chart Options' with an setting called 'Chart type'. Set that to 'Total Return'Living for tomorrow might mean that you survive the day after.
It is always different this time. The only thing that is the same is the outcome.
Portfolios are like personalities - one that is balanced is usually preferable.
