    Yes, I've had the winder assembly go (same car as you, Y-reg) and am starting to get some other niggles. The MOT's coming up so that might give me a scare.

    One good thing about the Fabias of that vintage is the lack of body rust. And mine's still pulling well, and giving 60mpg on a run so am keeping it going for the moment.

    The Briskoda forum have been very helpful in the past

    The Briskoda forum had a great guide on replacing the window assembly, still bodged it up though.

    Was having a look at what else is around, seems like best option would be to sort out the bits anyway, as pretty reliable.
