  • I'd be very wary. The chances of it being stolen are high, especially if its 'too good to be true'. At least with things like eBay, you have buyer protection via PayPal.

As per post #2, plus don't be meeting the seller in a car park etc, ask to see proof of ownership, reciept / box and be more wary if your town is one that suffered from looting in the summer.

Ask for the IMEI Number of the phone, Then simply pay £1.99 to have the phone checked through checkmend.

Checkmend will confirm the phones manufacture details, Ensuring its the exact Make/Model, Wether its ever been blocked in the UK, US or Worldwide, Wether the phone is Currently IMEI blocked, Or is Stolen, Reported lost or part of an insurance claim (Usually meaning it'll be IEMI Blacklisted) or wether its counterfeit goods.

If it seems to good to be true, Then it probably is.

Never Ever pay by Ebay, Only ever deal face to face cash in hand, Always inspect the phone before you buy.
