Hi,
Mid July we informed the landlord via phone that the radiator had started leaking in the bathroom, he duley sent out a "handyman" who just added more water and never returned.
After asking the landlord where they went he replied with "they are waiting for a new radiator" (still not appeared/fitted).
now I have noticed that the empty boiler (plumber has never been back since he topped it up in July) has started increasing in pressure very gradually over time from 0 to now 0.6-7 bar. No water is in the system as the radiator is not leaking anymore.
Letter has been sent at the beginning of the month and 2nd is being written at the moment.
how dangerous is this and what further action should we take?
Please don't suggest moving as I am not in a position to do so.

Not dangerous, but need sorting.
Could be the filling loop is letting by now.
Absolutely ridiculous that 'they were waiting for the radiator to be delivered'. Most are always in stock, with others available the following week at the worst.
Sounds like your landlord is a tight ar*e and just doesn't want to spend any money.
I don't know the legal side of these disputes, but personally I would withhold my rent until it is sorted, but then I am a confrontational sort of person.0
