An update Tazr, thought I'd let you know for future reference. Although I followed your advice, it didn't seem to help. I phoned Apple who also were not much help, so I phoned Sky. After trying a couple of different things, they changed the channel settings ( setup, wireless settings-) It was on Auto, so they got me to change it to 11. Said something about the satellite signals may be crossing. Anyway, it seems to have worked. Thanks for your input though.
