Tidying is going OK. Cleaning less so. But at least i'll be able to clean once its tidy!

Looks like most of the food will be used/frozen before I go, which is one less thing to worry about, and I've pretty much worked out what I need to take in terms of clothes. Just need to get e last few bits washed and dried in time to pack!
  • Good afternoon all.
A late start here for us.....not even dressed yet!!!

However, 4 drawers and 2 shelves emptied and sorted in DD's room Half a recycling bag full. A carrier bag of bits for school and all Bratz/barbies sorted and boxed under the bed(DD's play den).
Sausages cooking for a sandwich lunch.
    WM on.

Back to DD's room now while waiting for the sausages to cook.........xx

Our bedroom has been brushed up and i'll roll the hoover over it next. Plan is to move our bed back into our room, then the boys will have more room (plus the wardrobe will be moved out too). Then they can actual play on the floor and i won't be standing on lego every night. :D

The boys school do a healthy break at school, it used to be toast, yogurts and fruit. They have now sent a letter home explaining that there is no one to make the toast and hand out the yogurts so there giving out fruit bags (same as mcdonalds) the cost is the same £2 per child each week. Now we have been given the choice of sending in our own healthy break and i was looking for some ideas of filling my boys up with something healthy other than just fruit. Any ideas would be great as there tired of the fruit bags already.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

  • I've decided, while we're at it, we are going to move the furniture around....at the mo, DD's cabin bed is in front of the window.....Thew window cannot open to be cleaned, and more importantly, cannot be used as a fire escape(large window opens fully onto extension roof).

Need to move all other furniture onto landing and empty the wardrobe as well!!!! Busy, busy, busy............xx

Our room has been hoovered and i've just realised that my hoover has a hard floor setting. Then i moved our bed in and realised we have four cupboards in the base......thats where some of the christmas stash will go..:D

Now to go and sort the boys bedroom...

Right. Cakes decluttered - and I've been told I don't need to go back until 5.00 pm - and even then only to pick my boxes up. :D

Lunch decluttered, and about to declutter a large mug of tea - think I missed out on drinks in the rush around this morning.

Anyone for a HHC at 2.45 pm (after tea!) I am usually not bad at clearing up as I go, but this morning was so stressy that every room currently shows signs of my "progress" this morning. :rotfl:

Kazw i was thinking cereal bars but thought they might not be classed as that healthy.:rotfl: They could have it and then a piece of fruit each day.

Boys bedroom floor has been found, bookcase tidied and also found missing BB jumper. :D Now to go and sort games and give the room a good hoover.

Off on the HHC on my own - but I'm not up to running yet, so if anyone fancies catching up, there should be no problem!
