Now, yous had to go and put that song in me head...:rotfl::rotfl:

Right i best go make a start on the bedroom..Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Things are a bit slow in the Bumpkin house today as I've had a migraine

Much improved from this morning when I woke up with the entire left-hand-side of my head, neck, shoulder and arm numb with pain. DD bless her brought up painkillers. Resultant fiasco with job centre appointment which I will not go into now cos it makes me
:mad::(
Others seem to be under the weather too, so healing vibes all round.
I have:- DW
- WM
- cleaned loo
- half-heartedly cleaned a kitchen surface
- sorted some papers
- received Scottish Power refund YAY
- sent DD to dance/drama club with cheque from my Dad for her fees :A
- persuaded DS to go to chip shop for tea AND to pay for it (budget £10 for the 3 of us agreed)
- NOT had visit from freecycle lady after her second chance so offered to someone else
- tripped over afore-mentioned bulky freecycle articles and called the non-collector a very rude name

Feeling a bit brighter now but have a feeling that if the second person doesn't reply or show he/she will be faced with an already very angry person who is also approaching PMT time *If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Wm has been on, stuff was out on line, in and dry now.

soo tired
first week back is over and I am really pleased with how well my new little children have settled in (I teach in Reception) but boy am I tired...have managed to hoover this week but that's it. Going to my mum's tomorrow, she has Alzheimer's and my dad needs a bit of a break so he's off to the footy and I am staying with mum. 2,5 hour drive each way....zzzz.....need to go to bedGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
I am up to my elbows in paper work - but am coming on for a 5 minute break...
My sister came over today on her only day off (bless her!) and helped me with the packing and clearing out! We have done sooooooo much.
Cupboard under the stairs was totally emptied
DR bookcases are empty - books are boxed in cupboard understairs now ready to move
DVD and CD units all empty and listed on Ebay
DVDs and CDs are boxed and stored
Duplicates or unwanteds are all listed on ebay
Boot load of stuff has gone to the CS (although two new books did come home with me
)
Have cleared out most of dining room
Have cleared out underneath the PC desk
Sorted piles from under neath the desk in to two piles - file or shred
Am currently working through both
Boxed up lots of stuff from spare room and filled a box to go on Ebay
Boxed up volunteer paperwork to be handed over
Not sure what else and it doesnt seem like a lot since Ive typed it out, but honestly - I am so much further forward now
:T
Have also been to Asda and invited my best friend here for dinner tomorrow so I can break the news to her that I am leaving....
So all in all - not much actual flying but lots of decluttering and packing....
Am off to shred and file whilst decluttering some wine and watching Tron Legacy with the babe - Im thinking there is something about Jeff Bridges which is quite appealing... in a Sean Connery-type of way, then again, perhaps I should just put the wine back in the fridge :rotfl:
xx

Haven't had the laptop on today and so haven't read any of the thread since yesterday.
My Aunt and Uncle are staying at my Mum's tonight on their way to Cornwall from Ireland, so popped over there ealier to see them...nice to have a catch up and DD was very good.....normally easily bored with a lot of adult chat!!
I am ashamed to say I have done no flying either apart from doing DD some pasta for tea. I have, though, been and got some medium and small plastic storage boxes and we are going to empty every shelf, drawer and cupboard in DD's room tomorrow.....there is no need for nearly 50 barbie/breatz dolls(and all their minute accessories!!) and nearly 100 DVD's/videos......serious culling going on in her room tomorrow!!!!
Hope all are well and hugs to those in need xx
I will update with progress tomorrow x0 -
Good evening

I got very frustrated this afternoon with one of the children, and I have drafted a notice letter
(a minded child, not one of my own!!). I don't know how long it will take me to actually give the letter to his mum - I have buiding up to this for about a year!!
When the children all went home I vac'd through downstairs, swept the patio (DS & Little Miss Sunshine cleaned out the rabbit!), put on the dinner, emptied the TD (some was on the line, but I forgot to get that in
) & fed the dog. DS & DD2 took the dog for a walk (after I moaned at them for not helping me! DD2 had to get dressed to it - at 5.45pm )
I have sold 6 out of 10 items that I put on ebay. I haven't made a fortune, but it's a start
It's more about getting rid than making money
DD1 goes back to uni tomorrow. She has taken all of the car seats & the dog cage out of my car, and replaced them with a box of kitchen stuff & 3 suitcases. We will need to pack up the rest tomorrow, and load DH's car (we need 2!) It will be good to get the house back. I have told her that I am not lifting anything, as my shoulder is playing up (and I did most of the work when I picked her up in June - with help from one of her friends, while she packed  It should have been packed when I arrived )
So, after tomorrow, I can get flying for the rest of the weekend. Hopefully DH will feel up to helping me, as he seems to have ground to a halt
Hugs & spoons to all those in need, esp LW, Wendywitch & Sequeena0
