That's great LW. Can't see Oz getting up to that.

Currently on the train heading back north. Can't imagine what the house will look like. I'll need to start flying tomorrow and prepare an anniversary meal for Saturday. 7 years. How time flies.
Tell me about it! It's our 8th anniversary on Tuesday 13th; Mr LW's got a day's leave, and has booked dinner out in the evening. I'll need to starve myself all day in order to do justice to the meal!:o

Better go and wallop on some warpaint in a minute, to be ready to do battle in ....er - hang on, which supermarket are we visiting today?:D Oh yeah, Waitrose as soon as Mr LW finishes his shift.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    During my HHC I -

Bagged up the DDs carp so they can take it upstairs when they get home
Put random bits back in their homes :)
Wrote quick jobs lists for them to
Wrote the start of a TOOTS list
Made overdue eye check appointments for the 3 of us
Phoned my mum to let her know that I can't take my dad to club in a fortnights time (eyes and teeth appointments on the same day)

Has anyone traded in DS games at Tesco?
DD2 has some games she doesn't play and they don't seem to be going for much on ebay so wondered what kind of price Tesco gave.

I've just washed my new duvet cover for the second time :( It's got some type of orange marks on it and they still haven't come out
I washed it at 60c with my eco balls and a scoop of vanish and sprayed the marks with stain remover and they didn't even fade  I wash again at 60c with washing powder, vanish and dabbed the marks with milton and no change!
What else can I try?? It's only the second time I've used it and its made of egyptian cotton.

I'm going to have a quick drink then do the living room floor and unload the DW

  • Good afternoon :D
Not much flying again today :(
I tried a new toddler group today. It was really good :) All the toys are brand new! It is a group especially for childminders at the children's centre. The children really enjoyed it. And as I only have them for 4 hours, and we were out for most of it, so the house doesn't get trashed :j
The house is so full of clutter :( DD1 has taken her uni stuff out of storage (at her godmothers), and is at her nan's now getting more. Am I really cruel to say that I can't wait for her to go back? :o And it's not just the clutter. She is so selfish at the moment :( Snappy, and very demanding (of taxi services, money, everything really :() She demands more than the other 2 put together!! I will miss her when she goes really ;) but I am looking forward to much less washing (more than a fifth!) and being able to phsically get in her bedroom (which she shares with her sister ).

i need to make some pizza dough, as we have HM pizzas on our food plan tonight :)

I've got an interview next Wednesday!

    That's brilliant news!

I :mad::mad: the first week back - new menu, new seating plan and Early Years keep getting up and wandering off!!!!!

Today's pudding was chocolate rice pudding! The cook had told the catering company that the kids wouldn't eat it and could we just do normal rice pudding.

    They had said no!

The kids didn't eat it which meant:-

    1. we chopped a lot of fruit for them and

    2. all the rice pudding went in the bin!

The bin was the heaviest iot has ever been I think - we couldn't just carry thye binbag downstairs we had to take it in the bin itself and we went down in the lift because it took 2 of us to lift it!

We took it to the boss's office so he could see for himself how much was wasted! He was appalled. I don't think we will be putting the chocolate in in 3 weeks ( we work a 3 week menu rotation) - between the boss, the cook and the the catering company something will happen!

Went into town to order a chest of drawers for the girls room - showed it to the eldest yesterday and she liked it.

Went back today - and the price had dropped from £269 to £149!

Result!!! It's being delivered on Saturday!
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
