Sony Ericsson PC Suite 1.30.53 - Contacts & Messages
Maybe I have been spoilt with Nokia PC suite....
Just loaded Sony Ericsson PC Suite 1.30.53 and connects to my K800i just fine and transfer files. However I can't see any way of managing the address book or a way to write an SMS message and send? This functionality has always been present in Nokia PC Suite, am I missing something on Sony Ericcson PC Suite?

5.1 SYNC SETTINGS
=====================================================================
Supported devices
This version of Sync Station supports the following devices:
V800-Vodafone 802SE, Z1010, K700i, K700c, F500i, K506c, K500i,
K500c, K508i, K508c, Z500a, Z500c, S700i, S700c, J300, K750 and 750.
Before the first synchronisation, you have to configure the sync
settings. You can choose which data types to sync: Contacts,
Calendar, Tasks and Notes.
It is only possible to change "Sync Station Settings" while the phone
is connected. If you try to change settings, by right clicking on
the "Sync Station" in the taskbar notification area, without the phone
connected "Settings" will be greyed out.
Field matching between PIM and phone
Several Personal Information Managers (PIM) are supported on the
computer. We will use Microsoft Outlook 2003 as an example when
describing field matching between PIM and phone. The phone can only
support a limited amount of information, and in the list below we show
which fields that are supported. There is also a limitation on field
lengths in the phone, therefore long field names will be truncated
when displayed in the phone.

Thanks gaming-guy. However all that refers to the PC Sync function which I would not use. MyPhoneExplorer looks like it may have potential as it takes over the Phone & SIM contact management as well as SMS texting.0 -
I think that Nokia PC Suite is just to good. With my 6230i, as soon as i switch the PC on. My 2 6230i's are connected straight away. No having to search for them, there jus connected.
Bloody SE k610i, whether B/Tooth or cable, i have to run the wizard every time to connect the poxy thing. Most of the time it dont find it 1st time.
Sometimes it takes 4 - 5 attempts to find the connection."God is as real as I am,” the old man said.
I was relieved since I knew Santa wouldn’t lie to me ...0 -
