WRONG one of the oldest laws (not statue) is if you cause damage you have to pay..
Sorry but it is YOU who is wrong here. If you cause damage through negligence, then you have to compensate. The child, that is, not the parents. And although you can sue a child for negligence, one, it's very hard to prove to a court that a six year old was negligent by scootering on the pavement and falling off as a result of someone ELSE's negligence in parking on that pavement and two, isn't so good for neighbourly relations.0
