Tesco H&B vouchers

I'm going to try this combo later on this evening, or tomorrow:

2x simple shower gel
2x simple soap
2x colgate pump toothpaste

Will hope to use
2 x QK = £2.50
2 x HB = 2.00
1 x HB = £2.50
2 x Colgate = 80p
1 x HB (magazine if found!)

Total: +£1.02 I'm not sure if it's pre colgate price the till takes into account or not, as it's not BOGOF!

Hope that'll work, if it does, I wouldn't mind another one of these combos!

Also going to try the Aquafresh/Macleans combo early next week

It took the pre offer price (£1.88 x 2?) not the £3.00? offer price.

Got a great SA today (young lad) who I'll be looking out for in future. He was happy to scan everything I gave him, no reading the vouchers and saying "sorry, only 1 per transaction" like the SA I had the last time! I bought:

4 x Simple Body Wash @ £1.89 = £7.56
2 x Carex handwash @ £1.38 = £2.76
Total = £10.32
I also had other shopping worth £2.90

Gave him 1 x £2.50, 2 x £1.25, 1 x £1 and 5 x 50 points coupons.
My total left to pay was £1.88 :T :T Even the SA looked surprised and I got a funny look off the bloke in the queue behind me!

Well today I was all prepared, hit the shops in town for 9am, went to Boots and "spent" my points on some lovely Christmas items such as gift sets, Bratz stuff etc with 75% off !, the lady there was giving away £5 voucher off Olay which look like they may scan ? elsewhere ?

then went to Mcdonalds using the vouchers I had, then went to the Panto with DD2 and on stage John Barrowman as on Torchwood wished her a happy birthday !! (tickets were subsidised by my office sports and social).

then visited the local museum and unknowingly to us DD2's picture is displayed on the ground floor so we were pleased, quick shop in Claire's accessories lovely items in the sale reduced to 10 for £5 so bought some stocking fillers.

then I went tescoing - got a free tesco goodie bag - money off voucher inside for £1 and the blurb states: we'd love to hear what you think of this NEW YEAR NEW YOU goody bag, why not drop us a note to tell us what you liked, might buy in future, and generally thought of this sampling promotion

"one lucky customer will win a 2 night midweek spa experience break for 2 people, with warner breaks - email us at TescoGoodybags@d-s-media.com by 9/2/07. So worth entering that.

Then I shopped 4 times in Tescos and split my shopping to get the maximum benefit. I now have a great supply of slimfast and toiletries and more importantly for me I increased my points. I bought a mixture of addidas deodrants, shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste,

So all in all a very busy but very successful day, although on transaction 2 the SA would only scan a few of the 50 pointers despite me buying them. Thanks to the people on here who sent me vouchers hugely appreciated

Sounds like my kinda day!!!
I too had a good one MSE style of course. Did mystery shop and earnt £10 for a few mins work, scoured superdrug for the elusive coupons but nothing (really wish I could get an image so I know what I am looking for) - avoided Mc Donalds (diet reasons - although vouchers sit in my purse). Went to Boots and put my card in the machine thingy (for the first time I might add - do I hear cringes?) and got a whole load of coupons (see boots thread for details) and I really don't know how to use them to my best advantage. Hopped back into card and off to morrisons - still no sign of those flyers with coupons in. Then off to Tesco where I did two shops totalling £72 and paid £3.39 (once I return shoes which don't fit - sadly!)
I then sped over to somerfield where I grabbed 12 somerfield mags.
Phew!!!
Welshy I need some advice re Boots coupons can you advise me how to use them properly. Thanks
How did the new position go this week - have you enjoyed your own office????
BTW - thinking of coming to Cardiff to see the Dr Who exhibition but the site doesn't state dates - do you know when it's on from/to????

Got 4 Colgate Toothpastes (on offer at 2 for £3) and 2 Carex Handwashes (on BOGOF). Used the following vouchers
£2.50 H&B
£1.00 H&B
£1.25 Quit
£1.25 Quit
4 x 40p Colgate vouchers from Quit packs
£1.00 Tesco Magazine voucher

So I actually got paid about 22p to take the lot away

i had a few good shops today
i bought :- 2 x simple shower gel £1.89 bogof
:- 4 x imperial leather shower gel £1.49 bogof
:- 1 x aquafresh toothpaste 65p ( to take it over £10)
used 1 x £2.50 h+b
2 x £1.25 quit toiltries
2 x 1.25 quit health
2 x £1 off £4 h+b
2 x £1 off £4 (tesco mag)
i also bought a few odd bits for my little one

im not sure why i was able to use the 2 x £1.25 beauty quit vouchers but they scanned so they paid me £6.30 to use all their vouchers

i also bought 2 x cura heat packs @£3.77 each bogof
and 1 x vitimin c tablets 70p ish
and used £2 off £8 spend <quit>
2 x £1 off £4 spend <h&b>
so it cost me 44p well it didnt as i got it at the same time as the above mentioned shop.

paid £2.00 but got 200 points too so well worth the visit. thanks too all the people who helped me with swapping vouchers x

Not sure if this has been mentioned.

But I spent 10 pounds and had a wad of 50 extra points. The till would only take 5 vouchers (ie 10 pounds worth) I tried this y'day and had the same bleeping till.
