  • Last night in my Tesco shop I had 2 bottles of the Johnson's Bodywash £2.59 each but on bogof. The last twice I've been able to use 1 x £1.25 toiletries, 1 x £1.25 beauty and the £1 off £4 from the H & B leaflets as well as the 2 x 50 points. Last night only 1 of the £1.25 ones would work. Not complaining though as it still worked out at 34p for 2 plus 100 points. No leaflets out but there was an assistant working beside where they usually are and she went off to get a key to get some. Unfortunately it's only certain staff who can put them out and that they go on the shelves at 9 o' clock each morning. That's what she said anyway.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .

  • This morning on the way to the office I bought my newspaper and decided to get £10 worth of toiletries and use the healthcare vouchers on the heat pads that someone on here suggested.

Anyway, got to the till handed over the vouchers and a different supervisor comes buzzing over, states that I can only use vouchers for 10% of the value regardless of the fact I had purchased them. So transaction was saved and recalled at CS. Supervisor sifts through my vouchers, and hands nearly all of them back, stating it was over the 10% rule, then she scans

5 x 50 point vouchers as she said it doesn't matter about points. Result was I paid £15 odd for toiletries and healthcare when I had "anticipated" a spend of a few quid. I was very disappointed because yesterday another supervisor told the SA to scan everything !

It's a bargain if they are accepted but a tad annoying if they are refused - unfortunately with these for me it is luck of the draw

some of mine were also refused today as the cashier said that you can only use them on the items pictured on the front - which we all know is russish!!! So off I went to CS and got the 2 x 1.25 QT vouchers refunded in cash as they agreed they state that they can be used on 'any' toiletry purchase or 'any' beauty purchase. Some people will say anything to get out of letting you have the discount - even if that's what the vouchers are intended for?????
  • welshy that's rubbish :-(

how can they have a ten percent rule when the vouchers give a 20% or 25% discount - that's just silly! if you just went in to buy £30 of clothing then the £6 quit voucher would give a 20% discount!
