I am not sure that this is the right thing to do, especially after another recent credit search:No. Go in and pick any deal and say you would like to be sure you would be credit checked ok for when your Orange deal runs out in 2 weeks'
time! Get them to go through the check.Martin wrote:Get a 'quotation search' not a 'credit search'.
If you're just trying to get a specific quote for a loan, ask the lender to do a 'quotation search' and not a 'credit search'. This means the enquiry won't have a negative impact on your credit score. Sadly, many lenders haven't yet adopted this practice, but it is worth asking. If not, consider whether you really want to get a quote - if it's unlikely you'll get the product, don't bother.0 -

f it was ever done ! Too many threads on her have suggested that no credit searches were ever done by some resellers.
But, if in doubt, then HistoryGirl can wait till she is out of contract before going for another deal.0 -
Sometimes a network will refuse an application via a third party whilst being prepared to accept the same customer via a cashback site or direct0

I didnt want to start a disagreement lol but I think I'll just wait til the end of October when contract ends and go from there. I'll hopefully have a bit more money by then so may just buy phone outright.0
