So the point is to ignore them? Only joking - it's also my fathers car which i drive from time to time which upon reading the link, means it can be made even harder from them to chase the money.

MAKE SURE YOU TELL YOUR FATHER TO IGNORE ANY LETTER FROM THEM.

Print out the parking guide, read it and give it to your dad. NEITHER of you must enter into any correspondence with this firm or their 'solicitors'. Just 'file' the mail;)
They won't contact you, they will contact the registered keeper.

I had my training session and came out then went home. When I got home I noticed a small notice stuck to the outside of my windscreen.

How do I play this? Any advice? Thanks in advance

took you long enough to see the ticket, you drove all the way home before seeing it better go to specsavers ;)

There is a chance that, as you seemingly got the ticket for the car in front, that he got the ticket intended for you. On that basis there is therefore a chance that your father will get budgie-cage liners from UKCPS. So as Valli suggests make sure you warn him to file them and not to respond in any way shape or form.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

It was placed on top of my tax disc (that in itself may have got me into trouble on the way home!). On that side of the car, there was a hedge where I was parked and from the inside I could not tell.

HO87, my dad was the one who told me to ignore them in the first place. I think he will 'file' the documents on sight.
