Personally i think this is a great deal.

Until 10 mins ago I was on the really old tarriff (free national and t-mobile calls 7pm-7am weekdays and all weekend) £20 per month
I have just chaged tarriffs to the Everyone 3000 Off-peak.
This tarriff is 3000 off peak cross network minutes AND 75 texts. £30 per month.
As the old tarriff I was on had a fair use policy of 3000 minutes I don't really think I've lost anytihng at all. The 75 texts would have cost me £7.50 so basically I'm paying £2.50 per month for the luxury of having cross network minutes.
The icing on the cake for me personally is that I get half price line rental as I have a friend who works for T-Mobile so now instead of paying £10 per month I'm paying £15. Well worth it I think.
Just thought I'd let people know about the deal.
