Orange Care Insurance

HELP! I have an sony X10 with orange and accidentally cracked the screen after contacting them they finally agreed to replace the phone, I had to wait 10 days for it to come because it was out of stock and was promised a call when it came back in stock. (never got that call) I finally got my new phone today and wasnt happy to find that it is a refurbished one with someone elses data in and a dodgy speaker so im still without a fully functioning phone. after speaking to two advisors today they said it is policy to send refurbished phones and as it is out of stock again i have to wait again. Is this correct as the insurance small print says 'MAY' be offered a refurbed phone..... I feel as if i have been well and truly fobbed off....:(

    On insurance, unless the handset is less than 14 days old, it will always be a refurbished replacement. Although it certainly shouldn't have somebody elses data on there!

    I'd call and ask that as that handset is out of stock, is there a different model you could have instead (assuming you're happy with that). It'll be one of equal specification to the one you have at the moment too.
