Iphone 3GS Software Update help please!
Hi not sure if this is posted in the correct place but I hope it is and someone can help me.
When I 'Sync' my Iphone 3GS Itunes tells me that a newer version of software is available. If I click on the update button I get a message that iTunes could not contact the update server because my computer is not connected to the internet. This is where I am baffled because I am writing this post on the internet so I am connected. I can also access the app store etc.
Hope someone can help with this please.

Why not try updating your itunes first or reinstall if possible? That may help x0

I have the latest version of iTunes, it all works fine except the update button. I tried the restore button also but got the same not connected to the internet message.0

Hmmm, have you tried a roll back? Perhaps the itunes update is corrupt itself. I can only think tha is the cause, because as you have said you can connect to the app store, so it is not a firewall issue I guess.0
