PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

Valhaller - enjoy your 'sweet' moment, but hate to burst your bubble, you don't need lawyers at small claims !!
I will come back and let you all know how I get on. I can almost taste the sweet smell of success.0 -
Just to add to the point of this thread and the details so that anyone in future benefits from this, my case in its entirity has been accepted by the courts for a hearing, as they have noted that the TDS outcome is not legally binding and that they recognise the TDS have failed to follow their own procedures, review relevant documentation etc, so my claim for damages can be re-assessed, also they have stated that the AST to SPT should be heard for rental arrears.
It just goes to show that this forum, whilst useful, is used by alot of time wasters that know absolutely nothing, and fail to add any value.
You know who you are !!0
