If you are entitled the NHS Business Services Authority, on behalf of the Health Departments in the UK, will automatically send you a NHS Tax Credit Exemption Certificate. Use our flowchart to check if you are entitled to help with health costs because you get tax credits..
If you receive tax credits but are not automatically entitled to help with health costs, you will not receive a NHS Tax Credit Exemption Certificate and should consider the other groupsI made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. If you are entitled to free prescriptions they you automatically get the exemption card - I was most surprised when I received mine.0
