one month contract

hi guys

i have noticed that sim only contracts can now be had on a one month contract. is this a good idea as i thought they try to lock you in for a year? are the price of contracts going up soon ?

    It is not a 'one month contract' - it is a 30 day notice of cancellation, a very different thing. Usually, it is 1 month to cancel AFTER the first month, so your first service will be for a minimum of 8 weeks. They try to lock you in to get value from the discounted handset provided. Since SIM deals don't have a handset there's no reason to lock you. Simples!
