Sausage casserole
8 thick sausages
tin tomatoes
tin baked beans
worcestershire sauce
1 red pepper sliced
1 green pepper sliced
Brown the sausages, then add all the other ingredients and simmer until cooked. Add more worcestershire sauce if needed, could add mushrooms if you dont have enough peppers etc.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -
Thanks Queenie and Tiff for suggestions. Tiff, that was the sausage casserole recipe I had been looking for!:)0

Brilliant, I've been looking at recipes for BBQ sauce. I recently bought a tin of golden syrup to make a coating for popcorn but wondered what to do with the rest of the tin, otherwise it will sit on the shelf until I throw it out because the lid will be stuck on!

You could also make a giant yorkishire pudding and serve the casserole inside the Yorkie with mashed potato, my family love this.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -

I've actually printed it rather than simply saved it so that I can make it later in the week. So you see - I do believe you.

What can I do with it!
I know it's a bit late, I'm sooo busy at the minute I'm not getting as much time to get on here as I'd like and there are so many new members () and you'll all rabbiting so fast, it takes me ages to catch up, so will you all slow down a bit please
We had rubber chicken last week we had:
Roast chicken dinner on Sunday
Spicy chicken (made a marinade from a bit of olive oil, chilli powder, paprika all mixed up with bits of chicken and left in the fridge for about an hour) we had it in pitta breads but you could (and I think it would be better) have it as a pizza topping.
Chicken rissotto Followed Jamies recipe and added the chicken and some frozen peas at the end of stage 3 and it was reallly yum and quite easy too.
Chicken soup but it went a bit wrong because I didn't have enough chicken left really and I added far too much water. When life hands you a lemon, make sure you ask for tequilla and salt0
