best way to tackle stinging nettles?

I have the same problem but them figured it made an excellent area for wildlife so I am just keeping it tamed back to a certain area and leaving it be.

Nuke them with Roundup, again and again and again...

My neighbours let them thrive in their meadow as essetial food for the peacock butterfly, and that's fine. I don't feel any compulsion to allow them in my veg patch. The roots are like thick masses of spaghetti and backbreaking to pull up, though I do it regularly.

Have to say I hate docks even more, ugly brutes they are!
